So is this a case of misfortunate ignorance?
In like a year they will retract their statements and support it?
I heard so many people say they blew off bitcoin the first time they heard of it (Andreas A. included) and then 6 months to 1 year later they realize how big of a mistake they made by dismissing it the first time around.
We aren't all perfect so this could be a simple case of that.
Not being interested and dismissing is one thing, talking on a topic while being completely ignorant is another one. That's what happen constantly with mainstream journalists writing clichés, exagerations, crap emphasis and plain wrong statements on Bitcoin (and crypto in general). I don't see a reason why to forgive to those guys more than to the journalists not doing their job. In fact it's worse: these guys are somehow in the crypto space already, they could check facts and read stuff very easily, so it's harder to conceive how they dare to talk dumb like this.
Did you see Andreas making a video or a podcast or a written article the very first time he heard about Bitcoin? No, because he simply dismissed it, he didn't invent whatever crap about it.
