get [Suspicious link removed] to add them as payment coin
I send them a message to do it
if lots of people do it they will implement it
you mean coinpayments?
@dev I have a question. How safe is Energycoin from 51% attack? A big whale was successfully performed a double spend attack on Coin2 in Mintpal, which is also 100% fully distributed PoS coin. The attacker was able to accumulate almost half of the total coins supply. With the current market value of ENGR, the attacker can easily buy half of the total supply of Energycoin and just wait for the right moment to attack the network. Is it possible to prevent this from happening in the future?
The issue is that 51% attacks are going to be prevalent due to the fact that decentralization requires a non-centralized structure (that's redundant, but hopefully it gets the point across). PoS is based on holding coins, so unless the value gets to the point where nobody can gain enough to do an attack, there is nothing that can be done. It's a lot like Bitcoin: if a government truly wanted to, they could 51% attack it by throwing billions of dollars at it. The cost just isn't worth it though.
