I would suggest the following for a long term global strategy.

1) Renaming Centcoin to BitDollar (XBT, XBTC or XBTD)

I think if we dont hear something concrete from the "dev" in the next week or so, do exactly what the community and I did with Analcoin and just by community consensus, repair and fork Cent and develop it ourselves.

Ive grabbed a copy of the source from here :- https://github.com/RazorLove/pennies which can be developed and then a hard fork can be done by the community - thats the great thing about the blockchain, it doesnt matter who created a public coin, consensus rules!

But hey, it's bitcointalk, this is what I expected.... Although, I have the idea, and know what I want to do with this coin. It's up to ya as the community to put up what is necessary. Maybe the logo should be Abe Lincoln and instead of reading "In God We Trust" perhaps it should be "In Crypto We Scam" ?

My main idea is to get it listed on another exchange, maybe raise the value a little bit. And as I mentioned before a new logo to change image, anything else can be brainstormed. I'm also open to hearing what the community has too say. Most important now is getting listed on something other than cryptsy, and more than one market.

there is already a coin called Dnotes cryptsy has it listed as NOTE. that might be a conflict of interest. I do like the BitCents. thats my opinion.

Yes, I agree with you. I just meant a general term as a "digital note" 100 bitcents becoming a bitdollar, I believe BitCents/BitDollars the way to go aswell.

Although, now Bitcoin and variants have been classified as a commodity how will that affect CENT if it were to become BitCents and BitDollars?

Of course it is. Rex's already done it with some other high-numbered shitcoins, why not do it with the most broken shitcoin?
