In my opinion all projects on StartJOIN help to grow startcoin. As long as there are new people getting involved, liking what they see, and actually get money for their small businesses or other projects it help to grow the ecosystem. I'm trying to support as many as I can since growing a sustainable ecosystem is what we want. Some projects are directly geared to developing the start-system, and you will probably find those at the start of the list I gave you since they more easily attract funds. Since social media is the main marketing channel at the moment that's does not cost much money, but i'm sure more marketing will come. Still early days.
