have u been under a rock? Bob (@EMC2Whale) creates coins for pump and dump scams. He has no interest in altcoins, he only wants to make as much Bitcoin as possible and will do anything he can to get it. He has a team of 10-20 people working for him, spamming threads, pumping coins and telling people to buy his clone coins, his #2 is '@cryptogekko' they are everywhere, probably reading this as u read it . . .

having said that he buys many different altcoins daily for short term gains so i wouldn't worry too much the volume hasn't been large so he will only have 2% of coin maximum!

I think you will find that John (like me) is only interested in startcoin (and maybe bitcoin), and would not touch any other coin with a 10 feet pole. So we do not follow the intrigues going on in all the other threads.

Ducky is correct not interested in other coins so dont pay any interest and I doubt if he has any where near 2% thats over 1,200,000 Start and the volume has not been there

Well I don't know if it is tunnel vision to be unaware of who Bobsurplus is, but maybe if you are unaware of interesting coins like MAID, Etherium, XCP and a few others (factom project) you might want to read up IMHO. Anyway I never heard of Bobsurplus but he seems similar to a pump and dumper who went by the name of Fontas or Fontase or something about two years ago mostly pumping things like litecoin, namecoin, on btc-e and vircurex.  If you wanna try and pump it then dump it etc whatever.  Its a free market, I say who cares knock yourself out   It is not like the start community is not used to seeing price go up 5-10 fold and fall back most of the way -this happens 3X a year all by itself.  Welcome aboard Bob 

  @ bobsurplus, nothing wrong with a good crap coin pump and dump. We bet money on other people kicking a ball whats the difference? It's all absurd. 
 I'm in the SMBS and expect it to go well for me. But not all Altcoins are crap some have great ideas and purposes. As Startcoin does. Investing in BTC alone isn't Crypto's it's to slow and wont be the small transaction currency. Their could be many coins for different purposes that we all use daily. You could regret being an early adopter but not being risky enough.
As Piston honda said above WBB is a super impressive coin & dev and will hit heights, SPEC is another one that has a good purpose, devs & future.
they will return a greater profit than BTC ever will. then you move the wealth back to BTC= Winning
