I too would be curious where Bitmark development stands...it seems many of the roadmap dates have come and went. Is there anything non-devs can "look and feel" since Oct? What progress has been made since Poloniex implementation? Judging from the price dropping below mining cost to 0.000455, there doesn't seem to be a lot of confidence ATM   Also I no longer see marking advertised on the Poloniex home page.

The addition of BTM to Poloniex was very promising, just curious what "beta" of higher level items we can help market and spread since then, or even play around with and test since many of us supporters are not developers. There have been some very cool screen shots of a platform of sorts that looked very promising by Mark. I would hate for this project to go dark, when it held so much promise and has so many interested watchers with deep pockets - this I'm sure of.

If it's a matter of no development time available for mark/others, and the initial promises and commitments made this Summer for the various donations have been met, then there is a good precedence for deep pocketed investors to front more funds. Or, if it's just a lack of organization, I would be very surprise as this project started with some of the best usage of Trello and other Project Management tools I've seen. Hows the communication between contributors?

I'm also curious where the talks of the diff retarget ended up, although not as important.

Dbkeys, Leathan, and Ecucoin have launched a Pfennig fork with the intention of testing new algos out and hopefully coming up with a solution, or at least an improvement that we could potentially integrate in to BTM if warranted and fully tested and stable.

Or if say demand improves on it's own before that and the problem apparently fixes itself then we can have this potential solution/imprvement 'on hold' in case we need to implement it in the future.

They are working on it in Slack under channel #pfennig. It's quite a hard problem to solve so it's not something that's going to happen over night. But any improvements that get tested will be worth looking at. Also, there appear to be other currencies attempting to solve this problem as well like Vertcoin so maybe we'll see some collaboration or discussion at some point.

Woah, lets not go down that road please. Melvin wants the project to succeed as much as anyone and he's more than entitled to voice his concerns. His intentions are good and he's already contributed a massive amount to the project so to use that word that's a favourite of every alt out there with something to hide(FUD) is unwarranted in my opinion.

Confidence should be earned anyway. People should be able to speak their mind and raise concerns in a constructive manner.
