The marking is a scam - who knows the morals and ethics of those marking you.
Perfect example is the vacuous crowd of numbnuts in the Polo Trollbox, and the hypocrital mods, who are very selective. If you're not part of their little crowd, you won't get "marked".
Nice Bitmark logo, that's it - not interested in being a Pink Taco.

Seriously? This is a bit like saying that
writing is a scam. "Who know the morals and ethics of those writing about you."
Marking, like writing, is a tool. They are just tools, or mediums of expression. They can be used well (or not). But if they are not used well, that is not the fault of the tool. It is the fault of the user. Those who use them well can do great things.
Anyone can mark anyone else in the Polo trollbox. Try it ....
/mark <username> <amount> [reason]
Pink tacos are tasty because the hive mind, many people in the aggregate, judge that user to say interesting or useful things ....
