The PROBLEM is..why this wallet addres is similar..
CANN CfJ3NK87PAjErUKBjwLdLSZwgdizefcjBX =
CANNA CfJ3NK87PAjErUKBjwLdLSZwgdizefcjBX
soo...the DEV CANN is the DEV CANNA to..??
Nope they are not the same person. Perhaps they used the wallet code from cann, it's open source so it is here for that. But they should have modified it.
This is a big problem that should be DeltaNine's #1 priority, but he's too busy to apparently fix the protocol.
Cannacoin was launched on March 28th 2014 with the C wallet identifier two months before CannabisCoin. When CannabisCoin launched as scrypt on April 20th 2014, it used "420" as it's ticker.
Later, the ticker was changed to CANN on May 27th with the x11 transition and they decided to use the same letter as Cannacoin for wallet identifying. I warned that this would cause problems eventually for users and exchanges.Option 1: It's still possible to prevent this in the future through a new CANN wallet and changing the default addresses to another letter. The CANN wallet would still need to accept addresses with the C but new addresses could be generated with a different letter. Over time these issues could become very rare as less people had C addresses.
Option 2: The other option is for CANN to do a coin buyback through Bittrex to
fix this problem entirely.
