    An independent team of Bitcoin enthusiasts is now raising funds for the feature-length documentary film "Crypto for the Masses".

    The film will discuss what Bitcoin is, what it can do, explain the flaws in the current state of the economy and aim to change the perception of the illusioned. It will be filmed in Israel and will feature mostly Israel's Bitcoin experts and activists, but it will be watched and push Bitcoin forward everywhere.

    The trailer for the film is available at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H-O--m7Uz80 (dialogue in Hebrew and English, subtitles in English).

    The crowdfunding takes place at http://www.headstart.co.il/project.aspx?id=11322&lan=en-US. The goal is 94,500 ILS which is approximately $27,000. Bitcoin payments are not integrated into the Headstart platform, however you can pledge bitcoins in one of two ways:

    1. Anonymous donations to 189kiya3XFc8g1vD2CfV1gTj58Cyzz72xZ. You will not get benefits for this.

    2. Depositing bitcoins with Ariel Horwitz, also known as WiW. He can be reached at crypto@alefbit.com. You will get the same benefits as with donating through the Headstart platform, and if the drive fails, you will get the money back.

    The film will be produced with the financial and professional support of the Israeli Bitcoin Association.

    Wow, i see, that Israeli community so serrious in crypto industry. Lections course and domumentary film. But i don't think, that film is a good idea, but glad to see this.

    There are no real guidelines from the government, but they're exploring the issue and regardless Bitcoin is being very actively used.

    Like the trailer, the film will feature dialogue in both Hebrew and English, and will be available with English subtitles.

    Hope they will get all funding needed, we need educate people more. Everytime i say to someone that i accept bitcoin, i have to start explaining what it is. Lots of ppl out there have 0 clue about cryptos.

    It's quite a hurdle to have to register on headstart with the outlook of having to give CC details or actually pay via paypal.

    Hasn't Mike Hearn implemented assurance contracts?

    Maybe it'd be easier to fund this if his code was used instead (or in addition to) headstart.

    It's way easier for me to drop some coins on something than to go through the hassle and privacy intrusion of fiat.

    Trailer was good to certain point. Scenes moves too fast, you can't see clearly anything and it gets too repetitive in last minutes of trailer.
    Thats not good things in trailer to wait for full movie.

    Just to keep everyone updated, the crowdfunding campaign was not successful (it was mostly Israel-focused) and the producer is not giving up and is re-envisioning the project.

If some bitcoin millionaire wishes to fund this project his logo and name will be all over it so just saying... this trailer was only produced for crowd funding but there was not much support locally. I can say the new reinvented film will be in English and international. Hope this reaches the right person/s
