Hey thanks for sharing these instructions! After downloading the bootstrap.dat file and placing it onto my appdata directory I have follow the instructions carefully and got synced in 30 mins! That was way faster than it was before. Thanks a lot! Now I can invest into MUE and begin my journey. I'm fully synced with a maximum of 8 connections to the MUE network. 

Run a full MonetaryUnit 1.0.10.7 node on Raspbian 4.1.7-v7+
I used SSH to connect to my Pi, though you may use these commands in a terminal directly.



Optionally, use a bootstrap.dat if you have the space for it on your sdcard. You'll need 2GB+ free ondev/root 

Download and extract the bootstrap as per these instructions. Edit your conf to allow remote rpc commands by adding server, listen, and rpcallowip=ipaddr

Then you may run monetaryunitd to start the daemon. Once synced, you may issue commands to your Pi MUE daemon from your desktop with rpcconnect=piaddress

Or you can save those options in a new config and call it with

MonetaryUnit is really kicking with new development and innovations. And finally a new version I can download for my Raspberry Pi. This is just great. I will continue to support MUE as well in the next days, and I am thinking of making something useful for it like a MUE cloud mining service. I'm not sure, but if I start with this project it would probably help spread the awareness of MUE and increase its price and demand.

It's a team effort, and it's nice to be part of that (which includes the MUE community).

I think muemining sounds good, or muemine, muecloud, muecloudmining.  Anything like that will do the job I would think?

Cool, if you have technical help that will definitely make a big difference.

I would strongly suggest you look to start based on GPU hardware. A pi may hit 100kh+ and imho is unlikely to attract any customers compared to just a single GPU hitting 8mh+.

The new wallet works great on my current Windows 10 setup. I like how MonetaryUnit is going in terms of development and community, but sometimes I wonder why the price is so low? Maybe next year would be a very bright one for MUE and perhaps there would be an increase in price and demand. I have also noticed that there has been low trading volume is exchanges such as Bittrex and Bleutrade (you can check it out on Coinmarketcap) For now, it is best to buy MUE as they are dirt cheap now. It could be a great way to profit once price goes all the way to the moon! 

By the way, I would like to announce that there will be a brand new MonetaryUnit Cloud Mining Service where you can mine MUE with custom built GPU mining rigs and more. I have been working on the site over the last few days and I'm hoping to have it ready before new year.
