That is correct, the previous GEO balances will be transfered onto the UBQ blockchain as a GEO token. You will need to use the UBQ wallet to handle the GEO balances once the swap has taken place.

So if my GEO balance is at Bittrex, i do not need to do anything? Bittrex will automatically do the Swap process for me? And at the point when the Swap process completes, GEO will be a coin or a token? Thanks so much.

I believe that is correct, if your GEO is on Bittrex it will be swapped without the need to do anything. The terminology will be refered to as a GEO token on the UBQ blockchain, but it should function the same.

We will make sure that any GEO balances currently stored on geocoin.cash will also be swapped. We will then replace the backend with a new UBQ wallet which can handle the GEO token balances moving forward.

Dear weifa,
On the GEO explorer: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/geo/ , the blockchain funtion i saw many other coins, what does it mean? other coins is on the same blockchain with GEO or GEO has acitived segwit and upgrade to lightning network?
I am a newbie, thanks so much when you help me clear.

I've contacted Bittrex support regarding our swap and will let you know their response and the approximate date for the swap once confirmed. Ideally we'll have roughly 1 month from now to migrate balances over to Bittrex in preparation.

I've been busy this week working on our new promo site, gathering some assets and adding content. I hope to have it out shortly.

I'm also thinking of making our next demo video, just in the planning phase at the moment.
