This is pure speculation but we know that the company was considering an IPO.
For that it might be smart to stop using crypto shares (amber coin) so you dont have two competing shares.
It would then make sense for the company to buy up as many amber coins as possible from the market below a certain price.

We also know that they will announce their new business plan around same time as the dividends are paid. That plan could contain a buyout of the remaining amber coins. Most likely running till the end of the year with the IPO comming in the beginning of the next.

A buyout would most likely be priced according the actual value of the company, which is being determined by the audit that started just after the takeover. The buyback price of the amber based on actual company value would likely be a lot closer to the 30k sat that Amber trade sold them for than the 1500 sat that they are going for now.

That way the company could save a lot of money buying amber coins before the announcement.
It would be one way of explaning the increased buy support.


Of course it might just be people trying to make a quick buck banking on the company actually paying dividends, but that theory is much less interesting.

agreed with you. I ever looking an announcement that said they are never buy ambercoin in exchanger, but just will sell the stock of ambercoin whose they have.

I just curious. honestly I am not have an experience like you, so I am not have a many knowledge about management handling on company's because  I am never yet work as staff or official worker in company.

As said we have very little to go on. Basicly only three small posts so take things with a grain of salt.

Important parts here as I see it. They are not rushing things. They are doing the auidt and then the business plan and then you can start to make changes to the company.
If you dont have a solid plan in place you will quickly start to waste money right and left.
Also note the mention of prepearing for an IPO. That could be very interesting for people who bought at exchange price.

This could be related to the IPO but most likely its done to limit the amount of angry investors. Imagine buying amber from the company at 30k sat only to find them on the exchange at 1.5k.
So the new management cares about the company image, which they have to to get a successful IPO, but again its good for the investors.

The most important part here is that they give fixed dates for publishing and paying dividends. The reason this is important is that by giving fixed dates the company can be held accountable (not legally) and missing the deadlines would start a new shitstorm, dumping the value even futher.
The part about them taking payments of dividends very seroiusly isnt that big of a deal as its just words without actions. But studies have shown that companies not paying their bills on time usually also have lower profits.
As for Q1 dividens I do see it as pretty reasonable to postpone as the takeover was in the end of may and the audit was most likely running.


Overall it looks like they are trying to do things the right way. Whether or not they will succeed only time will tell.
