Negro is a delicious throat lozenge candy sold only in some countries of Central Europe. It is invented by and named after an Italian confectioner, Pietro Negro in the 1920s. The Classic version is black and anis-menthol flavored, but other flavors exist.

Note: the webmaster of the above-linked site has made a mistake and linked the picture of the Honey-Menthol (yellow) bag for the Menthol flavor. The Menthol bag is supposed to be blue (near #0000FF blue).

I, by all means, suggest to taste the Classic, because that's the original one, the others are just rip-offs. The "Mix" bag contains a mix of Classic, Menthol, Extra Strong Menthol, Eucaliptus-Menthol, Honey candies (equal proportion is not guaranteed).
