Silly question about the Vanity Gen.
If we close the wallet and then restart it does the wallet pick back up the search at that point or does it restart the search all over?
Thanks
Vanity Gen is like throwing dice or a coin.

So it's all about probability, not about "work already done".
You just keep a valid chance for success
if you don't stop playing.Imagine you have thrown a dice 100 times and it STILL hasn't shown a "6"...
Now, the fallacy is to believe that the cube now really really
"owes" you the "6" the next time you throw,
because throwing 100 times and NOT finding a 6 is so highly unlikely,
that throwing 101 times and FINDING a "6" must be extremely LIKELY, right?
But that's not how it works, the probability for the 101st throw to be a "6" is exactly the same it has been for all the previous 100 times: 1/6th
It's the same with the Vanity Gen: all your previous work does not make a certain result more "imminent".
Therefor "previous work" doesn't need to be picked back up, because it doesn't influence future success or probability. This is also the reason I decided to just display a "50% chance in X" info, and not give people false hope by displaying some sort of "timer".
