1. strengthen a better position now on one or more coins -position(s) that you already have-
OR
2. you wait until the merge happen and you get your btc ready to buy all the "dumps" from those angry and ultra emotional peeps when the new coin get on an exchange.

You might have a point however the boy can only cry wolf so many times when we just don't believe anything Spots will promise. My guess is it won't be a 1 for 1 swap as they will keep something from us.
At this point investors .... I don't know why anyone already invested should put anymore Bitcoins down. Plenty of other profitable dumpers out there don't need more.
Beside Spots created these to be different from dumper coins if you are suggesting these will become dumper coins then release our stake and we can dump them now so it can be easier to make the transition to a new coin. No person should be spending all his time recreating every month swapping every month just let the coin be like other Devs and sell staking contracts only.
