Calm down about the bonus - many people waiting for the ICO start time sent during the first few minutes of the ICO and wouldn't get the 50% bonus if it was limited to 10M coins. It would've been unfair to keep the 50% bonus, especially with the bugs in the ICO site that happened today due to the blockchain API. People who got in the "elite" portion are now complaining because they want their coins to be valued more.
It is so annoying that these people and their me me me attitude complaining about the devs making it more fair. I was prepared to be one of the 1st to get in the 50%, but recognized how extremely unfair it would be for those who were seconds too late. Then I recognize how unfair it would be for the people who simply could not register. But now that they invested they want to be like, "Oh, cut the bonus off right now so that my coins will be worth more."
I agree that it was the right thing to extend it by maybe 40 minutes if the website was down for 40 minutes...but 10 hours? That's too much time. All the people who were sitting at their computer at 13.00 GMT were able to get their BTC in by 14.00 or 15.00
The website has been working perfectly all day now, so there's no reason for them to allow the 50% to go beyond 3000 BTC
This is looking like it could have been a clever trick to grab as much BTC as possible from the 50% bonus FOMO
I would not have locked so much BTC in this for 8 weeks, if I would have known the 50% bonus was going towards ~4000 BTC instead of the ~2000 BTC which was the condition at the time I sent my BTC in
The way I look at it 95% of those BTCs are from people who planned on getting in the 1st minute of this ICO. And if anything those 5% all gets balanced out by the people who said that they are out, that they don't want to be part of this ICO any more. And by people who don't feel as confident so will not invest what they planned to. I was ready to invest, ready to copy and paste my email and password, but I still haven't invested waiting to see if any more bad technical stuff happens. So I'm an example of some who was there the fist 5 seconds, but instead of my BTC being there if everything worked perfectly, it will be there later, evening my transaction out. How would you have liked it if everything worked perfectly and a few whales were able to get in, eaten up the whole 2000 or 1250btc, and then you were block too late?
