This is true to some extent. With investing, you can do some research on the company or sector you want to invest. Gambling is mainly based on luckiness, within built in house edge against you. In long term, the investment in stock market in general is positive. In gambling, it is negative return.

Gambling is not wrong,  if you playing not greedy you will earn some money
We can't say that gambling is wrong, use gambling as time for fun.

All seems wrong when it Hurts You , soon when you are getting Profit from it you switch your Notion according to surrounding.
Gambling is not bad habit but some people make it as addiction , and addiction is bad.

First there is nothing wrong with it in my opinion.  It is just like playing the lottery in your home state.  Here is the issue with gambling bitcoin. There is a growing market with it, but there is no way you can do this and turn it into a day job and be profitable, because there is not enough of the gambling going around.  For example, if one of the companies out there have a bankroll of 15 BTC, and someone bets 1 BTC and they only take 1%, there is not much of a way for the system to allow that bet to keep going through over and over and win.  This is the larger issue.  Some of the larger casinos taking BTC are more profitable for the professional gambler.

if you treat gambling like a form of entertainment and the losses are the price you pay for the entertainment... then hey what's wrong with gambling? it'll be like any other form of entertainment

Nothing is wrong if it doesn't hurt other people. So if you constantly lose all your money and because of that your family is starving or you can't buy a new toys for your kids then it is terribly wrong and not funny at all.

But not all people will have the same thought, because most people will think that gambling will just end up our money but with travelling it iw worth to be used to get something good compare to gambling. I dont think there is some fun in gambling, there is only happy feeling when you are winning some coin
