Great game by Pelicans they are now in the winning track and that is good to see, unfortunately their opposing team which is the Rockets are having a consecutive loses, Christian Wood is really a big loss for this team.


It's still too early, they'll certainly get in the playoff spot if they'll continue to play with consistency.

Zion's injury was the reason why they fell short and he has not played a lot during the playoffs due to some protocol they need to follow IIRC. This time, if they make it to the playoffs and Zion remains healthy, I think they have a chance to upset a higher ranking team, even if it's the Lakers or the Clippers.

Who would have thought that Jazz will be the first team to reach 20 wins? I certainly didn't and based on the poll results, no one did either as they didn't receive a single vote. We all knew they are good  and well balanced team with deep roster, but I didn't expect them to be ahead of the Lakers & Clippers.

Last night's win vs Celtics was their 5th in a row, so maybe @Reid was onto something when he asked can they repeat previous winning streak that was ended by Nuggets. It will be tough though as in the next 5 games they play Bucks, 76s and 2x Clippers and Conley is questionable as he missed last two games.

They totally have a great ball rotation this season and I never think that they will come this far since the one came in my mind when talking about strong teams in the west Lakers,clippers,Nuggets,Dallas and Spurs I never though they will placed first behind on this teams. Seems Jazz is a  good title contender this year and its really a big boost  to their rooster since Clarkson is playing good at the  bench, Hoping the see  him grab the  6th man of the year this season.

its only 20 games win, still a lot to go, most teams start to go hard when the playoffs get near so that they can reserve more energy in the playoffs, I think jazz will make it to the playoffs but, they won't make it to the west finals as the west are so loaded with good teams, if they want to compete for the spot, they need to double their performance in the playoffs.

We cannot say that Derrick Rose has no spark already in him because he cannot move what he wants because the job of a player is to follow what the coach commands. Derrick Rose won't lose his own spark and maybe he is only in a team that is not very comfortable for himself. I think he can go all out when they have chemistry because even all-stars that have no team chemistry can easily be defeated by any weak team that has good chemistry. Team chemistry is one of the most important factors in basketball because without it, no team will work as one and all want to score while there are no one wants to sacrifice their skills. We know that the Knicks are not a good team and it only won the championship two times and it is about a half-century ago but they can win with Derrick's skill and if they have good chemistry.

If he has no spark for sure he is out on the NBA and look at his stats he contribute decently even though he have limited minutes on his plays. Also every player have a role and it's just he is not the first option in terms of offense that's why we cannot see him do well compare on his bills days and sadly those past injuries really hurt his career since by now he cannot get back on his foot to get a bigger role on his team.

It was a big surprise for many of us that Jazz made it.   I wonder whether they will maintain their awesome form for a long time in the regular-season. They played a game against Clippers and won it. They haven't played a game against Lakers yet. That is one of the games I can't wait to watch. It is early to talk about playoffs but for the regular-season, I think Jazz will be at one of the top positions at the end.
