Curry is still on his prime, probably when Thompson will be back next year it will be a different GSW. Not the same as when they have a run at the NBA, but we might see them chasing another ring when him, Klay and Green back very healthy and with the young set of guys that they have right now.
No question about it, Curry has lead his team this season with his historic shooting and scoring. But I'm not sure if that is enough for a ring, probably they will be having a hard time winning on the first round of the playoffs. But what's important is that these young guys get the experience.
Honestly Curry is good enough all by himself to carry the offensive load and when they get Klay it is going to be quite different. However they do need some roster management for sure, they were a great team when they had klay+curry and then players that had a role, now it is not like that too much. I believe they need a proper SF when Klay gets back, or maybe even SG and put Klay on SF if they want to, all those Oubre and Wiggins type of players are not good fit to GSW, they need good defensive players who can share the ball and maybe occasionally hit the three (not like curry of course, nobody can).
I think next year depends on this off-season, if they can somehow offload Wiggins and get someone else, they will definitely be a much better team next year, but it all depends on what they do, plus how Klay comes back is very important as well.
