I've been noticing Durant, even though the team has been on a 5 game win streak, he is barely ever playing like a superstar he is. 23 points today 12 and 14 in the previous 2 but he is averaging about 25-27 points per game for the season but I expect much more from him. Is he saving himself for the playoffs? Do you guys think he can turn it up during the playoffs and get the Nets into the later stages of the Playoffs? Maybe he just doesnt need to put up impressive stats as he has Kyrie and Harden who can easily elevate their game to next level at any moment.
The interview at the end of the game tells so. He said it's a good warm-up.
When it's needed, he will use all his techniques for a win. I am already satisfied that he is healthy and playing back.
I don't really expect more out of him because he had partners now that will lighten up the burden in both the defensive and offensive end.
The Wizards team have a higher chance to match with them as the Celtics are lacking one of their best player Jaylen Brown.
Durant, Harden, and Westbrook will meet again in the playoffs but this time they will be playing against each other.
Oh, it will be hot.
I'm looking forward to this matchup. Nets vs. Wizards would be fun and I expect Wizards to at least give Brooklyn a run for its money and make things tough. Harden is still nursing his hamstring, and I'm sure Westbrook and Beal will go all out and believe they can beat Brooklyn.
Celtics are absolutely out. They have been disappointing all season and their body language just screams they don't want to be in there.
As for KD, the guy is a scoring machine and can turn it on whenever he feels want to. The only caveat is his health, and that also applies with Harden and Kyrie. We all know how good KD is and what he can bring in the post season when he was with the Warriors. If anything else, I think he must be saving himself for the playoffs.
