Regular season is weird, some teams are playing much better than they normally are, and some teams are playing much worse than what they really are. Look at Suns, Utah, New York and you will see teams that are good in the regular season. However when the playoffs come, there won't be any of that, teams like Bucks, Sixers, Lakers, Clippers and the likes will be fighting for a finals chance, at the finals anything could happen but at the first round I am sure that all these overachieving teams will try very hard to go to second round, most will not be even able to.

This is why everyone should ignore the regular season standings, it may show a story, but the reality is very much different than the story regular standings tell. I do not know if Lebron or AD will come back for playoffs but you really think Lakers are as bad as the standings say? That's just one example.
