This will be a great series. The Heat might still be the underdog, but only slightly. I'm rooting for them to win because they beat the number one team, so there's no reason they can't beat the NYK.
I'm waiting for the betting odds to come out. My initial guess is that they will be very attractive for the Heat. Hopefully, that will come true.
I will not pick the Heat because they beat the top seeded Bucks, I will pick the Heat because I don't think that anybody from the Knicks team has the capabilities to defend Butler. The only way that the Knicks will win on this one I think is when Butler will get injured (hope will not happen), or if he will be having a bad night most of the time.
Like you, I'm also waiting for the odds, but with how they played against the Bucks, I will not be surprised if they will be favored especially when they're on their home.
Warriors finally winning a road game, which means that if they win at home (and I think they will) it means that we are going to see the series end. It was obvious from the start that Warriors was just a bit better, Kings are not terrible but they lacked experience in those clutch situations at playoffs, and it is known that playoffs is a bit harder and fouls called less frequently so Kings weren't ready, they were still good though, and even today they still have a chance to win as well, so it is not totally over but I will give this one to Warriors.
Like I said, and many said this already, experience is a big factor when it comes to playoffs.
They might be the 3rd seed, but they faced 29 teams to get that standing. Now we are in the playoffs, and all teams' standings are back to 0-0. The Kings might be the 3rd seed this season, but they don't have the experience in the playoffs (aside from Barnes who won a title with the Warriors). That has been the key as to why they won in the road even though they are awful in the eliminations.
Also, the winners of Game 5 wins 82% of the time (with a record of 186-41), and add the fact that the Warriors are very impressive on their home, maybe let's call this series over already?
