On the whole Warriors roster, he's the most inconsistent right now. There will be a time where he will be scoring 20+ points, and there will be games where he will be scoring less than 10 points. Yes he gets hot sometimes, but we are now in the playoffs, and I guess as much as possible, he needs to contribute to the team in whatever way it is.

On the other hand, the big 3 of the Lakers scored 20+ points to lead their team to win the game, and lead the series as well 2-1. I guess the main key why the Lakers won is they limited the Warriors on threes. The Warriors made 21 three point shots in both games 1 & 2, but in this one, they only made 13, and has a lower attempts as well. The 2 Green who scored 15 & 11 points in Game 2 is almost non-existent on this one scoring only 2 points each.

Davis and Lebron both made history in this game as well: (just saw it online)
Davis joined Shaq and Kareem as the only Lakers in NBA history to have 25 points, 10 rebounds & 4 blocks in more than 1 game in a single postseason.
Lebron on the other hand moves to 5th all-time as he passes Kareem in all-time playoff rebounds.

The Lakers need to defend their home court one more while the Warriors need to steal one on the road so that they can tie the series. Let's take note that the team who are up 3-1 wins the series 95% of the time, so it's a must win game for the Warriors, but wait... they also did the almost impossible when they defeated the Thunder back a few years ago when they're down 3-1.

^ I also believe that the Lakers should be able to win the 4th game. The performance of the Golden State Warriors is not good. Poole is so inconsistent that it has become a problem for the team. The team of Golden State Warriors absolutely cannot depend on him for anything right now. Just look at this match against the Lakers. He only got 5 points. And it was also not like he tried to play as a team when he saw that he was not being able to score. He was basically ego shooting.

You have to understand that your role changes when you are not finding success while shooting.

It's a different Lakers now after they traded Westbrook away and then got a lot of role players that fitted in the system of Ham. And when the playoff comes, the experience of AD and Lebron in leading a team came into the picture that's why they were able to upset the second seed Memphis team.

And up to this point, game 3, they are now leading the defending champion. But the series is not over, there are a lot of things that can happen here, Curry can still explode anytime in crucial times. So even if they are in the lead, they shouldn't be overconfident. And just like some of you guys, I wanted to see the series extended to game 7, it will be a exciting series then between two great players in this generation, Lebron and Steph Curry, this will somewhat be another legacy matchup.

Warriors is inconsistent on their plays and they commit many turnovers on game three that's why they throw to many possession to lakers. Also they really have a problem with poole since he is not performing very well as they really need him to produce some quality numbers. But I guess he is not in focus that's why he create to many bad decision making on his shoots. Maybe Kerr need to replace him if he's not doing good since he really create a huge mess on their team.

I agree, I never thought that they are going to be the one on front and dictating the tempo now. I guess the strength of winning game 1 at Chase Center was really a big boost for the Lakers team.

Same here, I thought that the Warriors will win game 3. Actually they lead up to the middle of the second quarter. But then the Lakers has a good run with AD and Lebron to close the second half leading. And then they didn't give the Warriors a chance in the 3rd because they know that the Warriors is a good 3rd quarter team so they just play good team and then score on the other end.

^It's hard to trust the Warriors. Especially with the situation of the team right now. I also believe that they can certainly play well. But I can also say that they will play well if the team is playing with coordination. Stephen Curry alone cannot carry the team hard enough.


^He has to stay in focus. Poole has a very important role in the Golden State Warriors team. There is no excuse for him not being able to perform well enough for the team. He has to keep his ego aside when he is not being able to score and he has to learn to pass the ball at the time. Just find a way to get the ball to Stephen Curry.

Jordan Poole is already playing horribly at some games way back in 1st Round of the Playoffs against the Sacramento King therefore why has just now been the focus of adjustment? As a result, Steve Kerr limits his usual playing time and starts shuffling his starters. As I noticed, when Poole is playing for less than 20 minutes on average, he is not performing well. He even claimed that he deserves more playing time like when Kerr put him on his average playing time in Game 1 against the Los Angeles Lakers.

But if we look deeply at the Warriors' situation, is Poole really the main factor? is Poole the one to blame for why the Warriors are not consistent?

Let's give credit instead to Darvin Ham's good strategy last game shuffling players on their defense possession. He was able to take note of what Kerr did on the Warriors' offensive gameplay in the Game 2 win and worked out a good countermeasure. The Warriors are playing horribly last game because the Lakers make them behave like that.

Gotta give some love for D'Angelo, he did well and he's on fire for the game 3. But there's no doubt that AD was a complete beast on this one.

Dominated the scoring and points and as well as the rebounds. While LBJ also did a lot of points and help as well. I would love to credit also Dennis for having that 12 points.

While the other bench scoring players also, only a few of them didn't contributed. Overall, they really did great for game 3. Two more wins and this series ends.

^^ I also noticed his inconsistency where he usually have a bad night every after the night where he is totally dominating in the paint and guarding it like crazy to the point that almost nobody can penetrate through their rim plus there is James as well. I don't know if that pattern will really happen but there is a good chance actually because this started ever since in the first round where they battled against the Grizzlies. Let's see it next game.

^ I understand that there are a lot of other factors contributing to the inconsistency of Golden State Warriors. But at the same time, Jordan Poole does have to perform better. The team expects him to perform better. If the team did not have any expectations from him then it was alright. But the expectations and the outcome are very different for him.

Darvin Ham has to be given credit. He is actually the one who made the outcome of the game so easy for the Lakers. The appointment was also not performing very well and he made the most of it.
