This is the last day without NBA basketball for a while. Tomorrow night well find out the final playoff standings with the results of the play-in tournament. Then its everyday NBA playoffs for a while. Best time of the year. This weekend we should have an idea of how the first round is going to go and see which teams are able to take it up a notch.
It's a good time to rest and refresh our minds especially those who will be making their bets. We got to really analyze the game and leave emotions behind. Although I know it cannot be avoided.
Kings coach Mike Brown voted NBCA's Coach of the Yearhttps://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/36179274/sources-kings-coach-mike-brown-voted-nbca-coach-yearMike Brown! Yeah! He deserves it.
After orchestrating one of the most dramatic turnarounds in the league in years and ending a 16-year playoff absence, Sacramento Kings coach Mike Brown has been voted the National Basketball Coaches Association's Coach of the Year, the organization announced Thursday.
Now, we have to wait for the media voting but this will have a big impact on him to win the award.
The four other coaches running for the award.
Among the other coaches who received votes, sources said: Milwaukee's Mike Budenholzer, Oklahoma City's Mark Daigneault, Boston's Joe Mazzulla and New York's Tom Thibodeau. Each coach votes for one winner and can't vote for himself.
But I do see some media revealing their votes and most of it are for Coach Brown. He will win this one, without a doubt. He made the Kings better, 2006 was their last playoff appearance and now they made it again. A sensational coaching job, thanks to Mike Brown, even I was dragged by the Kings hype.
