The Knicks and Clippers were trading punches in the first three quarters but the home team kicked into another gear early in the fourth which set the tone for the rest of the game. Those five steals in the final quarter alone made a huge difference.

I think coach Lue did okay with his team's rotation despite the loss. How did you see Harden's debut?

Anthony Davis is injury-prone, and that's a fact that everyone is used to, as he has never played all 82 regular season games in his career. His best record is 75 games, and that was six years ago. However, it looks like the Lakers got lucky this time, as it's expected that Davis will be back for the upcoming game against the Rockets.

That Adebayo performance was really impressive, though I think the Lakers could have beaten the Heat if Davis had been able to play the entire game.

Yeah, Grizzlies are struggling right now and they're on a 1 - 6 whilst for Heat, they've got the 3 - 4 standing. It depends on which momentum is going to be taken care of but likely it's going to be Heat's.

That's normal, because every game is important these days. It's fine to contest but if it's clear and the call is clean, they have no problem with that as well.

Anyway, that last second play of Lebron has been a hot topic today in social medias.

Some good matchups today but the main game for ESPN is the Knicks and Spurs. A pretty terrible matchup in my opinion but it’s a chance to get a good look at Wemby on national tv. The later game between the Warriors and the Nuggets should be better basketball, as those two teams have a couple of the best records in the NBA.

This might cause a problem for the Grizz this season, starting off 0-6 but luckily they got 1 against the Blazers. But against the Heat, this is going to be 1-7 most probably.
What an unfortunate moment for the team to have 9 players being injured all at the same time. It would be ridiculous if they injured another one. The next 10 opponents for the Grizz after the heat is going to be hard for them.
The Jazz may have the 2nd worst standing in the West but they were beaten by 20+ pts the last time they played.
Let's see how they will bounce back from such a bad start.

Much better that Dame was transferred in the Bucks and not with Heat. Heat is already composed and a balance team IMHO, they've got scorers and defenders and their defender and big man is even a scorer. Those very last moments of the game was crucial and I think the talked last pass and buzzer beater of Lebron James was all planned by Darvin Ham.

It's all in the coaching board drawn on how they're going to end the game but it didn't end properly. It's being argued that James should have given that pass to Austin and that's pretty much better. But anyway, they do what they have to do because they're all tasked and instructed as they are but it's still different if we're going to talk about basketball IQ.

I have missed the debut of James Harden with Clippers but it looked great on his debut although they've lost against the Knicks.

Yeah, nothing spectacular but looked great to me. New York Knicks has always been solid and the expectation from us is always met by them. They just keep on upgrading every season.

Heat no contest did great. Lakers was so close on that game but it's not that enough at all. Last like season, it's not a good start for them and I think they've got a better start this time unlike last year, right? Because last year before they even get their first win, I think it took them a lot of losses first before having that.

But this time, they're like the other teams that are on the record of 3-4 and that's not that bad at all as they start this season. So, that's why I am saying that they've got a better start this time than the last.

What do you guys think of this new in-season tournament that the NBA is putting together this year for the firs time in history.  Or at least I believe it's the first time.  I've never heard of the NBA even wanting to do something like this before.  This should be a pretty fun season overall and I can't wait to see how this new in-season tournament plays out.

It heightens the competitive spirit of all teams, they are not playing like the past seasons where they will just give away points. They know there is a small league happening which is the In-Season so they are aware that they must play better every game. I think it's a good thing that they added this to the regular season. The NBA may actually be getting more audience because of it. Stars playing every game means more fans coming in and more tickets to sell.

There are so many games that I don't know what to watch first. 
The New York Knicks trying to blow out the San Antonio Spurs in 3rd quarter now. Wemby not shooting well.
I am actually more focused on the game of the Brooklyn Nets versus the LA Clippers. I want to see what Harden can add to their rotation although I am not expecting much because of the lack of chemistry.
The Clippers are down by 3 but I don't think that will be long as Kawhi Leonard is getting his rhythm. Plus, one man down in the Nets team after Cam Thomas got injured stepping on the foot of PJ Tucker so the Clippers might take the W later.

Not having their 2 all-star players, Williamson, and McCollum really is a big problem for them.

The Pelicans not having Williamson on most parts of the regular season last year already made them look like an average team, and they went from first to barely reaching the play-in tournament. Not having 2 of their best players, and letting Ingram do it alone is a problem for them. Well, kid > a few games, so I guess it's understandable. As for CJ, I wish him the best, and I hope his lung injury isn't that serious.

As for the Lakers, not having Davis really is a problem for them as well... or not. We can say that the Lakers have the problem, but at the same time, we can also say that the Rockets might just be better this season because of their new coach Ime Udoka. We know what the capabilities of this coach are, and if only he didn't have an issue, he might still be the coach of the Celtics right now. Now he's back but with another team. With their new coach and new players, I expect the Rockets to be better now than last season. Will they be clinching the playoffs? I don't think so, but they might reach the play-in tournament... or not.
