The last undefeated team in the league has fallen now with the Minnesota Timberwolves beating the Boston Celtics. Minnesota is also the only team in the league to have beaten the Denver Nuggets. While it’s still early, the Timberwolves are showing they’re a team to beat this year. They’re also the number one rated defense in the league.

Another big win by the Timberwolves. That win should boost their morale somehow and continue to their winning ways. However, there's still a lot to improve before they can consider themselves a serious contender this season. Their 2 towers need to be consistent. I am not sold on Conley, they need a stable and younger PG, and it does not have to be a star player. Nonetheless, the Timberwolves are still undefeated with a 4-0 record at home.

They need that kind of consistency at home especially when the playoffs comes. That win was huge as they have done that even without KAT.
It's now looking good for the Wolves, the addition of  Conley to this team has somehow contribute well to what they have become now and Edwards had already matured as a player due to his big experience, especially playing the FIBA WC.

If they continue to work well and develop then they will become a serious problem to any teams. They have their 2 towers who are both capable on offense and defense while Edwards is starting to show his leadership. A PG with good passing skills will definitely make them much better since the current roster is very good already. But if they have no other other option then Conley is decent. I just see his $24 million purse this year is too expensive but I understand that no other team will accept him with that kind of salary.

Are you referring to Conley with that contract? I know he had a huge contract with Memphis before he got traded, but he is a decent player, no longer in his prime, but he could still improve a team. I don't even understand why the Jazz let him go.

Boston and Philadelphia are now tied with 5-1 records. Philly has a 5 game-win streak.

It seems like they really don't need Harden after all. Speaking of Harden, he made his debut with the Clippers against the Knicks, but unfortunately, they lost.

Good thing they unloaded Harden in the early part of this season. Now Tyrese Maxey's potential will be fully realized. I have high regard for the kid. The Clippers only started well but are now losing games against top-tier teams.

Chemistry cannot be easily formed. The good thing is that Harden was traded early in the season, so there's still plenty of time for the Clippers to fix their team. What's important for the Clippers now is that Leonard is fully healthy. I think their squad will be strong enough once they are in the playoffs.

Clippers at +1200 now to win a championship, I think this is a good steal.
