He had tried, but it can't be denied that his production is not the same as during his peak. He was the best player with the Hornets before the injury happened. After he left the team to play with Boston, his production started to decline until he decided to retire and call it a career.

A player who's very versatile, can stretch the defense of opposing team because of his ability to shoot threes, and he's a reliable player in offense as well. Now the question is, "Will the Jazz trade him?" After his amazing season with Utah, do we expect that they will trade him, or they would rather build a team around him. Based on what I'm seeing online, some believe he will get traded, but some believe he will not. It's still not clear, but if the Jazz will trade him, the Warriors will be the front runner.

TBH, I'm not hoping that the Warriors will get him, but I will not be surprised either. He's not at the same level as PG13, but he can still do what PG can do as well.

As for Buddy Hield, it's Splash Bros 2.0. Just for context, both Steph and Buddy are the top 2 in most number of three-point shots made since 2017. Hield at around ~1900 while Curry at around ~2100. I expect that the Warriors will go back to how we they became popular which is shooting threes.

I'm surprise by this. Hield's brilliance in 3 point shooting was probably not notice so much because he didn't come from a popular team, or a playoff team. I guess it will be nice to see him with the Warriors, but honestly, if compared to Klay I think Hield has to develop his clutchness as Klay was not only known for his great 3 point shooting but for his clutchness as well.

As far as I know, it isn't only the Lakers who are interested in DeRozan, but also teams like the Kings, Spurs, and Heat. But in the case of the Lakers, the problem is that they remain in a big financial bind. Given this, I have doubts that they will be able to sign a player like DeRozan.

If they were not able to sign Klay, then it's unlikely they will sign DeRozan either. Klay received $50 million for a three-year contract with Dallas, but DeRozan made $50 million in the last two seasons with the Bulls based on his average yearly salary. So, we are talking about a larger amount here, especially considering DeRozan played very well with the Bulls last season.

That's another problem not unless DeRozan will adjust maybe they can work it out or they will accept the liabilities in exceeding with their cap maybe it will materiaized they need to negotiate and find all the possibilities, in terms of performance if DeRozan will be added to them he can provide decent numbers though coach and teammates have that specific roles to execute and manifest his position.

Like what you said, another big name that will be traded to a different team which is interesting as he will be playing with LeBron and AD a good star who can help carrying the team if another bad injury will happen to either LeBron or AD or even both, DeRozan can take charge and lead the offensive side.
