As far as paycheck, it's obvious that the Warriors are not willing to give Kuminga that. They are firm on their offer to him and Kuminga doesn't like that and was looking to get out but so far no one is really taking the bite out of it. Second, for the playing time, we will see, it's now on the shoulder of Kerr, he will have to make some adjustment if he will be given by the management the go signal to play Kuminga with more minutes so that it is still going to be a win win for them. And they have this history of not making any big moves in the free agency, but just getting players of support rule so everyone should not be surprised by what they are doing right now as if this is the norm for the Warriors. As long as they keep their core, they think that they can be fine.

If you're with a team that hasn't done any single deal during the off-season, you will really be asking some questions about the future of the team. That's where Butler is currently.

I mean the Warriors are the only team in the league that hasn't made any trades or acquisitions during the off-season, and aside from that, only 9 players are in contract, and the training camp will happen 3 weeks from now. All of these are happening because of only one person - Jonathan Kuminga. It's just unfortunate how the Warriors are being held right now just because of a single player. They want to give him a $25M per year contract, but they don't want to commit on him as well. Kuminga also said that he doesn't want to be with the Warriors anymore unless they give him more playing time. I wonder what Steve Kerr will be doing.

As for Butler, checking the Warriors' office is a good idea for him. He doesn't want to waste another year of his career especially now that he's still chasing his first title. As for the Warriors, I don't know about their decisions, but it seems like they're dysfunctional currently, and can't decide what they will do with Kuminga.

They are different from the raptors that khawi had to win the finals, if they want to win, all the teammates need to be consistent during the playoffs harden sometimes disappear,
unlike the raptors that all the players contribute when needed, clippers are sometimes good in the regular season while in the playoffs they are a regular team, they show signs of being a team to beat then, a breakdown when needed, so im sure they will not make this year besides they got issue with balmer and khawi.

They are wasting resources for those matter and to bad they cannot heavily rely on Kawhi since if his not injured they are afraid that Kawhi would be in that situation.

That's why it will be so hard for Clippers to win a championship with Kawhi especially that they are struggling to maintain his health. Now that they are facing serious issue and Kawhi is in big trouble for sure Clippers will get heavily affected on those controversy.

Maybe its time for them to rebuild and look for young talents that have great potential, they should look at what OKC did and they became successful with those efforts they made for so many years.

Yeah, but with that kind of body, knees giving out, wear and tear, could be difficult to see how that will hold up. His last championship is with the Raptors and that was many years ago. After that he goes to the Clippers and everyone thought that he can duplicate what he has accomplished, but so far if I'm not mistaken, the Clippers did go only in the first round and lost.


I do agree, we've seen also that recently in the case of WB, there are still some who thinks that he is still in his prime and a caliber player. But the former MVP is just a shell of himself and for this season, no team has absorb him.

After the Raptors, Leonard's career have just went straight to being a mediocre player. I guess, everyone will agree that he's now overrated. He have done nothing after winning with the Raptors. Missing a lot of games which is very vital to their team as a preparation for the playoffs, but they fail miserably over and over again.
The Clippers should look for a legitimate franchise player. Leonard is not that person obviously, and he's near retirement.

Sad not seeing him in the NBA anymore, but I don’t think his career ends here. Other leagues will definitely take him if he wants to keep playing. Just look at guys like Lance Stephenson, Jeremy Lin (retired), Dwight Howard, even Cam Reddish, they’re no longer in the NBA but still doing well in other leagues.

It feels like the NBA gave up on him too soon. he already cemented his legacy as the triple-double guy, and that will stick forever no matter where he plays next.

This is possible considering OKC is a balanced team which means they might be interested for a veteran player that will lead their young roster.

But I doubt this will happened immediately as they are already locking in their core young players for more years before they will be hit by luxury tax since the rate of their core players is already skyrocketing.

They have a very good bench players which I doubt they are willing to sacrifice just to acquire WB.

This kuminga issue is now taking in media and its not going right, this might me a distraction on the team the offer now is quite good and there is no other offer bigger, my question is why did the warriors give this earlier, they have brought the issue back and forth and now giving him a good deal why not earlier, kuminga now has to decided and has to prove it this coming season, if he has limited minutes his value is going down, and if he will now show up.

To be fair, Kawhi is ALWAYS injured and that is why it's not going to help their case, they are not going to make any returns on his investment. This isn't easy but it is not impossible neither, we should not be looking into this like it's something that would be a lot better.

If you really want to make money on this, I mean if clippers do, then the best way would be just hope that his contract is void, that way they will not have to pay him. Waiving him is the best way to move forward, there isn't anything else to do. Kawhi never helped them with anything, and even if he was 82 games healthy + playoffs, the squad isn't good enough around Kawhi to win the title as well. We shouldn't really expect him to do that great, it is not going to happen.
