Sure, they could use the trade to gain more shooters, but I think AR being there could help secure some of their problems if ever Luka were injured.

AR could also shoot, and he is a good player. Adjustments could be made, and they can make him focus on shooting if both play at the same time.

Honestly speaking, I thought he must have played at least once before he got injured at Spurs. I mean it's clear that we have seen Kawhi play greatly there from his rookie season to his leaving, but on his last years, because of injury, he did not play, and Spurs literally got doctors check him out and his results and said that he isn't injured enough to be sidelined and should be playing, and Kawhi made a big scene out of it.

When the most well oiled machine type of management and the team that is known for doing the best for every player, ends up telling someone they can play, and they reject and create chaos, you have to understand it's the player that is the problem. As a Spurs fan, I knew it, and I am happy that everyone else can see it now.

Both can shoot, score, pass, and rebound. Both have similarities, but they still have differences as well. Luka is one of the best in lob pass, Reaves on the other hand is better at defending than Luka. Luka is more efficient when it comes to passing while Reaves is more of a score-first kind of guy.

Kawhi definitely isn't a minimum salary player by anyone's standards.  When he is healthy he is a top 10 player in the NBA on both ends of the floor.  Sure, he isn't healthy very often, but even if you only get the guy for 30 games a year he is still well above a minimum salary player.  They should probably just let him sit on ice until the playoffs every year if that's what it takes.  It does make you wonder how great he would have become had Zaza never happened...  Still, I believe he has the highest winning percentage of any player ever.
