I have been thinking, and I think that we should implement Segwit during this hard fork.  I think if we are going to have a hard fork then we should implement as many features as possible at this time.  If anyone else has any feature ideas then please post them.  Thanks!

 Perhaps surprisingly, Terracoin is more alive these days than it ever was before )

 Devteam are finally doing something, not just dreaming ). And we actually need more sellers to wake up : too little amount is tradable right now. Demand is higher than supply, but it's way too risky to buy while so many coins are frozen, so the market is skidding right now.

4.27.17 Terracoin Update – Link Bonanza

Another week has passed and we are still making progress on improving the future of Terracoin!

SixofFive is overworking himself on the code and is pretty close to fixing the testnet which will allow us to properly test the hard fork once we are at that stage.

I raised the idea of Segwit again and we are not sure that we will be able to implement it at this time.  DASH’s decentralized governance is our main goal, and we can always implement SegWit with a soft fork at a later time.

Adding DASH’s anonymous transactions, Darksend, was also brought up again because it is part of the DASH code that we are adding and anonymous transactions is something that most people want.  Darksend could cause issues if a state government decided to ban coins with anonymous transactions and it is easier to add later with a soft fork, then take away with a hard fork.

Nothing is off the table, but it may be better to wait till the voting/masternodes is implemented so that there is a more democratic approach to the future of Terracoin.

The original developer of TRC was kind enough to tell me he was closing down the terracoin user on github so I was able to grab it.  We will be using this in the future (another sneak peak).  We updated the github Sunday night to reflect the commits from my clockuniverse github.  It now shows up on the github search!  The next version of the code/releases will be uploaded there.

Now for the Link Bonanza.  I thought it would be a good idea to have an easy to find update of all of the new ANNs etc.
