At the very least we will see more stable block times and difficulty, helping to prevent "diff jumpers" from mining hundreds of blocks in a few hours with rented hash power. This will also assist in fair distribution.

Between total supply and age of the chain, Terracoin is still a relatively scarce cryptocurrency.

The next step will be the push to bring it back in to the eyes of small miners and the general public. I still remember TRC in its peak days before it was attacked... trying to work our way back to the "golden days" 

I'm considering helping with that. Looks like there's passion here and that means potential.

I expect we will see a lot of pissed off people using Vircurex, and using the old wallet when they lose their coins sending to Cryptopia.

As for a game plan after the hard fork.  I hasn't written up anything official yet, but here is a quick list that I made the other day.

Be listed on at least 3 exchanges (not including Vircurex)
Have five websites accept TRC as payment
Have a TRC Foundation p2pool seed node & seed wallet
An official TRC blockchain explorer (instead of just using whichever one happens to be working right now.)
Get two volunteer developers to join the TRC Foundation
Open discussion about the next step for the wallet.

I want to wait two weeks after the hard fork to make sure any bugs are worked out before jumping into anything new.

We are always looking for new members of the Terracoin Foundation and even if you don't want to join the foundation everyone's voice is appreciated.

Just 13 more blocks and we can be done with this nonsense!  Oh man, are they going to be surprised when they notice it.  I would bet they are mining to an old wallet too...

so maybe this is the reason why there has been no block in the last 2 hours?

but p2pool also can not merge mine..

i do use "--merged". it calls getauxblock and has still problems! other merged coins work fine! only TRC has problems.
