As mrbodz said we should just wait it out. Once people stop mining the old chain people will switch over.

Also if you see sites listing terracoin.org or Vircurex as having anything to do with TRC you should email them and have them update their sites. I have emailed a few already. I still need to contact coinmarketcap.

http://zpool.ca/explorer/TRC is a working block chain explorer, though a few minutes behind. I have contacted bchain.info and told them of the updated wallet.

Crass (aka Terracoin-PR) was holding off because I wanted to get the donation server & VMs up. I just turned that thing on, and it sounded like a jet landing and I couldn't connect to it.

Someone PMed the question of what to do if you have an old wallet and coins on Vircurex. I thought it was a good question so I am posting a slightly editted response here.

What to do if you have an old wallet, and/or TRC on Vircurex?

For an old wallet, if you got them before block 829,999 you should just be able to update the wallet no problem.

Backup your wallet first, of course.

For the TRC on Vircurex all you can do is sell them and either send the BTC to Cryptopia and rebuy them there, or you could try and see if Vircurex has a seriously underpriced altcoin and buy those up and send them to another exchange to sell.

Hopefully that helps everyone out.

Hi all,

I'm having many problems with the wallets/daemons atm. Both the windoze wallet & linux daemon have stopped sync for the last 2 weeks despite being the latest versions & pulled from the git repo. The block explorer is showing the same problem.

What has happened to the TRC network?

Edit: Also, the latest linux daemon doean't work with p2pool merge mining.

After you update the wallet you will need to either delete the whole block chain and resync or just delete the most recent block and .rev file (I think, I am not next to a wallet right now, so I am typing from memory).
zPool has a working block explorer: http://zpool.ca/explorer/TRC and it shows aux being used to mine.

We currently only have a 32bit windows version of the wallet. We should have the 64bit soon.
