Wave has a potential to grow but to become one billion market cap, I doubt, BUT I hope
An ICO is a risk yes but not a scam. Something can only be defined as a scam once the said scammer disappears without a trace which is clearly not the case. That's why anyone who knows a thing or two about investing will tell you to only invest what you are willing to lose.
I agree with you Sir, you are definitely right it is a risk and we should need to have some patience in it. All ICO takes time to grow just like Bitcoin and Ethereum and you have to believe in the project if you really want a big reward..

And only put on risk only that you can lose, nothing more.
