I want to help HEAT and run a full server node. The instructions about how to forge and set it up with SSL and sending your passphrase are extremely confusing.

Can someone make/post an updated document/wiki for this?

Heat has nearly no marketing and you can't buy it on any exchange. I don't think this is a big problem at this early stage. You have to consider that this is a longterm investment but it has the potential to go much further than a double in marketcap.

First, you should find some information about the asset (by its ID) to make sure it's the one you really want to have (trustworthy, backed by something etc.).
Then, deposits/withdrawals are processed by the asset issuer, so maybe there's no possibility (yet) or you will get instructions if you contact him (send a message over HEAT for example).
