Whooow! I wanted to use Revolut for the purpose of buying daily things with cryptocoins, but I had to deposit fiat and buy coins from their app, there's no option for depositing and withdrawing coins to the public blockchain.
They also don't support ARK which is my n.1 investment.

ArkVM or smart contracts would call something like, "sidechain plugin" or "plugin smart contracts". It perform the same thing but in difference way to get it done. We all should know Ark purpose is ease of use and no bloat, seem the Ark team are working hard to achieving their goal.

This app you talking about I think it will be easy to have it done via plugin. Ark plugin is working now or should be working soon I think.
To sum it all up Ark is a huge Ecosystem, Enterprise blockchain no one fully understand at this point. I hope they would incorporating Ark token into this plugin so it would have more demand and values. 
The one thing Ark people need to know and should know is to have Ark token generating more demand and values in order for it to survive, or people would just fork and forget about it. They can do anything or not do anything but this one point is a do or die thing, incorporating Ark token into plugin.
