    Reason I like to use a vardiff port is to try and get a share within a few seconds.  I prefer to have my rig run about double to triple diff to hash. So if I have a 100 sol/s rig my diff would be around 200-300.  That way when I have a block change and shares are rejected I don't loose as much work. I'd rather a 300 diff share be rejected vs 6400.  That is my reasoning. To each their own. It really boils down to how your rig performs on each port. Everyone will have different results if only perspective.

    what is this bug with version 3.1 i have around 20% dev fee

    Add -allpools 1 to your bat. Or command line. It's unable to reach the dev fee pool it's still mining for you unless you see devfee:share. If it's just zec: then it's mining for you but also looking for dev pool. It will eventually find a pool. The eu1zcash server is down more than up it seems. Maybe they fixing the payout algo:)

    All those shares accepted you see are for your miner, Not devfee... It struggled to connect so kept trying, Whilst still hashing for you.... As I understand it only devfee shares show up in white not green

    I tried port 7007 and after a little while the dashboard showed that my worker was adjusted from 500H all the way up to 6000H.  I then tried port 7077 and it very quickly adjusted my worker back down down to 6000H from 6400H.  I guess it doesn't make much difference but it looks like port 7077 gets my worker where the pool wants it faster.  If you really want a lower difficulty then you would need to use one of the static ports (8088).

    Yes your not giving it enough time. It freaks out a bit a first since you bombard it with shares on 7007. Then after adjusting high as heck it will start to correct down.  Give it about an hour and it will be settled in.  Again it's what works best for you.

    Has anyone tried 3.0 or 3.1 with r9 380 a 4gb?
    I get around 40mh with -i 2, with modded bios and 880/1625 clocks.

    I got a problem here.
    6 cards in a rig. R9 390. 1100/1500 +50 power lim.
    Win 8.1
    Driver 15.12
    12 gb memory
    H81 pro btc + g1840
    The problem is miner hangs when 1 card goes to 0 speed. Can't even close the window with miner. Only reboot helps.

    Yeah I've had several similar '0 bug' issues and they've almost all been related to a dodgy usb-riser, Can work for 2-3 days then 0.. quick replacement riser fixed it everytime.

    I have Win 10 Pro, 16 GB Ram, 6600K @ 4,2 Gh'z, latest AMD Driver 16.11.2 (4.November 2016) (16.11.3 is out, 9 Nov - will try that now)
    470 Nitro 4GB, but it should work with other 470s 4gb as well.

    i found a way to speed up multi gpu i removed all amd drivers and disabled windows auto driver feature then i installed 16.10.3 for my r9 380x , 16.10.2 for my rx 480 and 15.12 for my 7950 from device manager.

    Claymore, version 3.1 is a Hit, Working flawless on R390, R290, R290x, R480 4 and 8GB versions.
    Take a look on the difference between version 2.1 and version 3.1 at Flypool, with Auto features like WD and -re 1 enabled + Reboot.bat First half of the graf is v. 2.1 and second half is v. 3.1
    I still cant push the R290x to 100 H/s, but 76-80, so close  Wink
