I am of the opinion that there should be a set minimum post count and activity as well as merit level for anyone to even post in this thread and a different limit for posting links.
Something like minimum member status to even post a Twatter link.
I support it. But the problem is theymos no longer want to limit newbie participation in the forum. The problem is more significant in lending sections. Every other day newbie accounts pop up with a loan request who doesn't have any forum background. In the serious discussion section, users below the Jr member rank cannot post. Users below Full member rank (or Member rank) cannot post in the Ivory Tower section. If you all agree and are serious about it, you may ask infofront to move this thread to one of those sections.
Else, another idea could be to refrain yourself meriting those Twitter posts. Slowly but surely, they will lose interest in dumping their shit. The problem is everyone doesn't agree with that. Some members might still feed them.
