The less coins on exchanges the better for several reasons.  And I think this will drive people to withdraw.

That said... In made my comment that is it "bullish" with a pinch of sarcasm too since it is also draconian. I would expect Cali to liquidate the bitcoin and hold the cash. Since their government is so horrible.

Bitcoin is a ball being held under water. We are about to explode upwards soon.

You aim to be unpopular here talking about such taxation.

The worse thing in my opinion is that you wouldn't even need to tax the rich that much. Something like a true flat tax around 30%, by true I mean with no loopholes, applying to all ways to make money (capital gains included), should be enough. Maybe even 25%.

Instead people like Musk want to pay 0. And as a true hypocrite, he also wants others to fund his companies with big pork, billions for spaceX, billions for Tesla, etc. It doesn't make sense, if you're against taxation fine, but at least be consistent and don't ask for any government money...
