Well, looking for currently price and it is traded about 3USD, Bancor token is now so undervaluated crypto. I do not know who is selling for this price, I see how Bancor grows, but price is dropping. Hate bear market.

Bancor Prevents Pump and Dumps

Recently a pump and dump group took aim at BNT, the network token that allows Bancor to provide continuous and instant conversion between Smart Tokens in the Bancor Network. 'Smart Tokens 101', a classic article by Bancor's Eyal Hertzog. Consider it required reading for anyone considering themselves a student of this space:

...The first thing to understand is that smart tokens are money that hold money. This means that the smart contract which operates the token owns units of at least one other token (smart contracts can do that). We refer to those other tokens as reserves, similar to how a central bank which issues a currency also owns foreign currency reserves...

This learning process never finishes and we should be open to new ideas and approaches. This article on smart money 101 is very informative and worth all your time spent on reading this. Bancor gives to opportunity to watch things other ways. They are trying to restore confidence of people on this space which is future definitely.

I don't think BNT could be considered security, because you won't get any income solely by holding this tokens. I'm pretty sure it qualifies as utility, but you can't be 100% sure what SEC can come up with...

Got you. I was just coming up with that idea because someone mentioned a passive income stream. And that is a major characteristic of a security and the SEC will do everything in their power to qualify as many tokens as a security as possible.

By the way, in the future on bancor it will be possible to receive the passive income. Read the Whitepaper. But this is like renting a token.

That is what I was also referring to. The problem is that it doesn't really matter that much how you call that "process". Whether it is "utility" or "renting a token" or whatever, the authorities will most likely tend towards qualifying it as a security and you need very strong arguments against their case.
