True that right now the community is not that big for openANX but once people start noticing the project it will turn huge.

the progress of this project is getting better, the team that has managed this project does have a high skill. this coin is already widely listed on the market and the price for now just 1.10 USD. I think it's better to keep this coin until the middle of the year to get a satisfactory profit.

Our second Working Group: development plans and regulatory policies

Last week we held our second Working Group meeting. For an overview of whos in the Group and how theyre helping guide the success of the OAX project, take a look at our post about it last week here. Today, as promised, we want to give you a summary of the main areas discussed last week.

To start with, the Group heard a description of the projects development progress over the last quarter. Weve updated the community on much of this already (see our Development Update from a couple of weeks ago here), but we also discussed medium and longer term plans. This was a great chance to get feedback from industry leaders on how the technical aspects of the Project are evolving and confirm that we are focusing our time and resource in the best places. We will be continuing to make regular Development Updates to the community, so keep a look out here for the next one.

As you know, getting the development side of things right is crucial to the success of the project. But so too is ensuring our regulatory standards are world class. Thats why we chose to focus the second part of the session on looking at anti-money laundering (AML), know your customer (KYC) and
counter-terrorist financing (CTF) policies.

From the outset weve built the OAX project on principles of transparency and strong governance. AML, KYC and CTF are a core part of that as they should be throughout the crypto industry. Having robust policies and standards in place will ensure the long term success of the project and the industry as a whole.

The understandable reason for this silence here is team is currently on various aspects of project which can be imagined from summary released few posts above. This project needs lot of time to make sure of everything which they have expressed to make thing transparent and clear like day. We still have to wait few months.

The 1st Token sale have been succesfully finished in July. $18 have been raised.
The 2nd Token sale will be possibly held somewhere in the future.

Appointment of General Counsel

Today were pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Li as General Counsel to the OAX Foundation, marking an important stage
in the development of our legal and regulatory function.

Paul was previously in the Financial Regulation Group at Linklaters in Hong Kong. Here, he advised his clients on a wide variety of matters
concerning compliance with local and international regulatory requirements, corporate transactions and the licensing of financial services businesses.
He also brings with him experience of working with international regulators on investigations at both retail and institutional firms.

Transparency and governance are core parts of the OAX project. As we updated the community last week, at our recent Working Group session here,
the members spent much of their time discussing approaches to anti-money laundering, know your customer and counter-terrorist financing policies.
Getting the governance right in these, and all other regulatory, areas is crucial to ensuring the acceptance and successful adoption of our platform.
Pauls experience working across international regulatory environments will help us achieve this goal.

Umm, so there is 2nd round of token sale. Do you have a plan to convert the old OAX to the new OAX token during 2nd sale? I wanted to see something new with the new price.

cheap means its a good buy,

honestly, OAX is oen of the projects that i really admire most. they are very active and take note, they never missed to update us on whats going on.

thats why i belived that OAX might even go beyond 5$.

I still do not know the relationship between the OAX price and the decentralized project being developed, except that there is an ICO last year to sell OAX at US$0.75 to raise funding for the project.

Even if the project will succeed, it seems that users do not need to buy OAX as a criteria to enter the platform, nor the company will pay us dividend for the profit, if any, they got from the operation of the platform.

Can anyone enlighten me the relationship between beteeen yhe OAX price and the project?

Well in OAX's defense: everything is cheap at the moment. This is no OAX' fault in my opinion. I've seen rock solid projects falling to the price of the ICO, while being at x12 at some point. This crazy crash just destroys profits.

OAX has always been a long term hold. I've been in OAX since the ICO and did not expect anything real before Q1. Therefore, I'm giving them my time until the end of Q1. No change by then? I'll probably sell

Just don't blame projects for low prices during a bear market.
