There are still many voids out there that cryptocurrency can fill, bitcoin has much more room to grow, it's still a baby. Gold has mostly filled all of its voids at this point, but bitcoin is still going to be growing for a while. In other words, price will keep climbing for a while.

But more chances are that value will be raise. So don’t wait just buy it and start using them in the way you can. And you are saying it is more likely to be 5000$ this year. I think it will be 5000 in next 1 or 2 months.

Not late at all. Maybe this is not the right time to buy Bitcoin for the first time if you don´t like volatility that much, but price will go up after August if the scalability problem is solved. These days Bitcoin price might seem like a rollercoaster but it will eventually stabilise at a higher value so it is definitely not late at all to buy it right now. Just don´t invest what you are not willing to loose, and don´t even think of buying now if you don´t have the nerve to experience high price fluctuations.
