There are also no independent, long-standing and well regarded or respected institutions backing bitcoin or alts in general (maybe ripple xrp).

It means no bail-outs, little chance of recovering stolen funds (possibly made in a pump), and regulators that regulate nothing very much, but loom over bitcoin especially threatening to tax you.

Bitcoin especially, but numerous altcoins are controlled by people that are unknown to us, and if these are in agreement, they can control the market completely.

But maybe it will continue forever more.

It is late. But not at the moment. If you buy right now, the market is likely going to go up short term due to the segwit activiation today. Sell once the price is up. Its hard for anyone to predict the future price, but people are speculating its a bubble waiting to pop.

i think everyone already knows that this is late, but is late in the sense of buying bitcoins at a low price, because the more the price of bitcoin will get higher but in another sense it is not yet late to buy bitcoin, Like you said bitcoin can still be mined. And after that happens of course the price will explode so before it happens it's certainly not too late to buy bitcoin

I think it is not late to but because we all know that bitcoin isn't that stable so that I think in the future the value of it will be very hit so that many people will be amazed and use. Today many people are continously using bitcoin so that they earn a lot of money but what happento others? They also using and buyung because of the positive feedback. If I do not think it's too late to buy bitcoin because we can buy it now a few days later bitcoin prices rise again and sell it until the price we already want.

Its not too late to buy bitcoin, you just have to be careful. Get the best opportunity when bitcoin is in its lower value. You have to understand that there are spot where you can really buy at its good. Bitcoin is so volatile, it has its ups and down. Just remember to not loss what you cant afford. Be wise and study more of bitcoin.
