Ethereum is a clear winner here for comparing from waves because look at the development of waves and its community, it doesn't have a chance to stand compare to ethereum. Ethereum is the future of smart contract blockchain because it is the gateway for the other people to create their token or cryptocurrency which is far way better than using blockchain of waves.

I dont like Eth to comapare with not only waves but any other coin. Ethereum is the 2nd strongest currency in whole crtpto market . I dont think there is any competition of Eth with Waves. The Ethereum blockchain is pretty much good , but the waves blockchain is not so good . The only largest competitor of Eth I think is Btc and may be Eos in far future.

For myself, until now I still choose ethereum compared to waves,
even though ethereum is currently down but I'm not worried,

Waves and Etheruam are on way too different platforms. So, I don't see any relevance in them. Waves and Ethereum are both good. Each platform has it's own characteristics when it comes to security and trading. That's why whatever people choose, both would be good to keep.

I will choose ethereum over wave because alot of coin are ethereum based and they are easy exchange or covert to ethereum. It makes ethereum platform more popular and accepted world wide

Wave is not in any way close to be able to compete with ethereum. Although, wave is a good coin and it will surely do well in near future, but that might nit be close to ethereum. Ethereum will continue to maintain its position.

There are much more ICOs using Ethereum still, and also they are better projects in average, as much as I know. So yes, Ethereum will survive

I do not see the prerequisites for the Ethereum to be able to yield its positions to another platform. First of all, the Ethereum has a colossal base in its basis and only intensifies.
