Bitcoin is cash. Cash does not have consumer protection, but governments enforce laws which protect consumers. Cash is instant, and so is BCH. If you think 0-conf is unsafe, send me some BCH and double spend it back to yourself.
BCH is real cash.

If you d get 10Mio USD in notes, you need some decent time to count them until checked
Same holds for BCH. Small amounts, easy going, and who wants to risk reputation for low amounts?
Big amounts with BCH, give it some block time to be confirmed.
