They have announced on their social media slots will be available sometime this month and I believe the sportsbook will be as well.
I am not sure how they will manage to do two launches simultaneously like this because both these releases have been in the works for months.
And to release them both in the same month will be smooth without any issues?
We will just have to wait and see also to witness they have a super development team to pull this off without a hitch.

You are calling the 10 billion bets "unprecedented" but you literally yourself broke that a loooong time ago Primedice was around 30 billion bets if I am not wrong, it has been around 29 billion for a long long time so we don't know if it actually broke the 30 billion mark since that is not updated for a long time and maybe forgotten.

However, the reality is that 10 billion is definitely not unprecedented, you broke it yourself before. It is like going to moon, not many can do it, only a very selected elite can do it but the ones who can do it can do it again obviously. It is still an amazing accomplishment, I don't see any place going to 10 billion bets and then doing it again, it is incredible and you need to operate a casino perfectly without any issues for years for this to happen.

Disappointing to see that they are opening up the beta to a select few people(Closed beta) while I expected an open beta like the one exbet.io is conducting currently. I don't see the point with a closed beta in this case since the traffic will be very low.

If Stake wants to compete with the best sportsbooks out there, they need to conduct an open beta and there shouldn't be any lag while placing bets which is a huge issue with this site while playing games(Dice etc).

We cant blame them about the deicision to choose closed/private beta test for new things on the site. They did it several times already IMO when they launched new games in the past, not all players are able to participate on the beta test as VIP members only got the chance. They do not need to conduct open beta, I'm sure they will get enough feedback with the closed beta and they can improve the game if there are several things that needs to be fixed/improved. The competition among sports betting site is not on the beta, so no matter a site is conducting closed/open beta then the competition is completely happening once it is officially released after the beta.

It's happened before though on previous new game like Crash, before it released to public, it's open up for beta. I think it's not because of the traffic, maybe just for test to some people who win the beta access and finding bugs, make it perfect before it released to the public.

Beta or not, the real deal is coming soon and we know about it and that's great. Plus, they have done duo launch before, they provided crash and video poker or something when they went to V2 latest, I don't remember which two games it was but I am pretty sure it was 2 games at the same time.

Right now, they look like just adding slots and no sportsbook in sight so I assume even if they do sportsbook eventually the slots could be first. Maybe they will do sportsbook in another segment, same name but different tab than the casino games, so there would be one casino games part where slots will be added and all other games we played so far and another tab where sportsbook games will be where we can bet on them. That would be the easiest way out, having one button of all sportsbooks in casino segment could be more difficult.

Its a good alternation between blackjack and dice, don't you think? These two games are almost the most played games and so it makes sense to have crazy low house edge and plus only big places like this one can afford this much level of player comfort

Other games do help attract more traffic, but they can only retain more players only if their odds are great with low margin and if their interface is not laggy and annoying like 1xbit(Easily one of the worst in this department).

This is the problem right here. Crash and sports betting are completely different. If they opened up the beta to everyone, we could get a better idea as to how the sportsbook would function under heavy load(Cannot be assessed with a closed beta IMO).

If beta is opened for general public then it cannot be called a Beta Run. Normally in testing environment, you give access to only few people and those few people test the sites for everything including bug fixing or load testing.
Also there are many other ways to artificially test the load and may not require the real users using the site.
