Slots is kinda like that, you can gamble for hours without a proper win and actually not make money at all (even lose a ton) but in the end one big weird win can put you up top big time. Sure, it is not a guaranteed way of gambling for win but that doesn't mean it won't happen neither.

There is a fine line between possibilities and bankroll, sometimes you play way too long and your bankroll ends and you can't gamble any more, but sometimes the good luck comes early in the game so you have a lot of profit to keep gambling with, the hardest one is sometimes you end up gambling with almost our last dime (or one of your last) and you end up winning with that to recoup what you have lost which makes a big thrilling fun if you ask me but not everyone can handle it.

Have you never been to a casino? Most people's first game at a casino is usually slots. Its very easy. All you do is throw in a coin, pull down the lever and if money start pouring out of the bottom you obviously won, if not then its a loss. These days its usually more digital. Usually there is no physical lever but instead you just push a button. And you normally don't get 1000's of dollar coins pouring out of the slots machine but instead get a winners voucher. However the idea is the same.

There are odds in slots. But not in the same way as dice. In dice you pick the odds yourself. In slots the odds are based on the number of rows and columns pretty much. Some slot games have 3 columns, some have 4 and some might have more than 5. And each column has the same wheel which has a fixed number of different elements, say its 10 different elements. You can assume these are called rows.

To win the jackpot lets say you need to hit number 7 in a single spin. How do you calculate the odds? Easy. Basically there are 10 elements in total and the chance of hitting a 7 is 1/10. Now what is the chance of hitting it 3 times? Its simple math.

10%*10%*10%= 0.1% chance, so you would need about 1000 spins to hit the jackpot.

I think they did not mean to ignore your concern in chat, but probably they just did not want to reveal it on chat too early or probably they have no ETA for sportsbook release because they want to give surprise for their active players who are waiting for this sportsbook. Now we can expect that it wont be more than a month as it has been announced that it will launch this month. Lets be ready for it, and I'm sure there will be another big promotion for the launching like what they have done when they launched new games.

Chat is chaotic, not everyone can respond to everyone all the time. It reminds me of the twitch channels where there are thousands of subscribers for a streamer and hundreds of people write at the same time to him, streamer can't just read all the messages and respond to them, there is no way that is possible.

The trick there is basically letting the donations come and respond to those people but stake can't do anything remotely similar so when there is too much of a crowd then your messages could be buried under an avalanche of other messages and never find any response from anyone let alone mods that has to respond to people all the time. It is not a specifically targeted to you thing, it has happened to me before as well, both sides of getting a response and not getting as well but I write here now when I have an issue and it gets resolved much more quickly (or get a quicker answer to my question).

I guess... I'd like to have one :'D
