In my own experience its still quite hard to find wifi networks in certain areas you are travelling in. Making individuals interested in sharing their wifi with small incentives could help this problem drastically.

On the other hand, you could earn few bucks here and there just by sharing your own mobile connection!

I just found out about the airdrop now and I very interested in it. A global Wi-Fi business model looks cool when developed as a sidechain on the Ethereum blockchain. I am in for the total support of this project.
