The plastic coated ones are nice because you can strip just the tips that go into the ATX plug, and you're left with a safe, plastic-coated, non-conducting loop sticking out.

I feel pretty confident that Dave has hitched his cart to the right horse this time.  I'm way more comfortable about my preorder with BF than I am with my preorders with BFL and KNC.

I have fears that BFL will go bankrupt before I ever see my orders and KNC, well, I'm getting that same feeling I had with BTCFPGA/BitcoinASIC right before the avalanche.

New here, right?  That's the starter kit including the main board and RPi interface.  You add additional H-boards to it at $20/Gh/s = $500 25 Gh/s.  And if the price seems too high, maybe you should buy one of the competitors products, let's see...  BFL sells this neat 25 GH/s "little single" model for about $1250.  I think I heard they offer two week delivery...

That is related to a case for the M/H boards - a completely separate product.

The $1300 is not just for the 25gh/s hashing board. It is also for a master board and a raspberry pi. You can add 15 additional hashing boards (16 in total including your first one that came with the starter kit) to 1 master board for $500 per hashing board (each 25gh/s).

With the Number of October Kits starting off at 400ish orders if I were to order once the orders available get down into the 50's or less, will they still be guaranteed October Orders?

Guys - Les received the boards today and ... they have a problem.  The fab dropped 2 of our layers, producing a 2-layer PCB (no internal interconnects).  We identified the problem immediately, got it fixed, and the fab is now expediting new PCBs on a 5-day turn.  We are seeking to expedite each additional step this is going to take, but we *will* lose 3 - 5 days here (and 10's of thousands of $$$)

Steps we are taking:
-2-day turn verification rig in production now
-send a team member to China to in-person test this rig
-expedite all stages of PCB production, assembly & delivery

Since we will be right up against our retail delivery timeframe, we are going to have to use the 100TH boards for filling retail product.  Due to this, Tytus has announced an increased hashrate supply to our 100TH investors of 200TH total, to be deployed in the next two months cumulatively (not all at once at the end).

We are as upset at the delay/fakap as you are I'm sure.  This is one of the side affects of pushing such a fast track project, but we are making it right.  Believe me we want this stuff hashing as much as anyone and we are pulling out all the stops to get it done.

With the speed at which the difficulty is increasing, any time lost in delivery directly affects the ROI of the product.
