For me its not about the cryptocurrency... Its about us if we are truly a good person we will not do it because it will not help our country to reach its progress instead it will leads only to chaos... Cryptocurrency is not the one one who kills human way of thinking... We are the one who destroys ourselves because of our greediness and selfishness why it happen... If you are truly born with a right way of thinking you will never do it... You will do instead what our country needed... We have our own freedom if we want to use cryptocurrency in bad or in good its up to us... We are the one who will choose our yen in lifes...

I think metaphorically, people "die" because they become off-the-grid. They sort of disappear from any monetary system if they do use cryptocurrency on a daily basis. I guess Bill was right. It does kill people to the point that they disappear from the main "normal" system we delve into.

Another interesting topic. Cryptocurrency was also a money itself the difference is that Bitcoin especially has the highest value according coinsmarketcap. People are normally greedy in terms of money. Money is power and power can kill people.
On my own opinion it actually kills people because of the values and manner of so many people which is called "Greediness". One of the seven deadliest sin.

Agreed but that time payment mode is different either you have to buy it for direct cash or online transfer. carrying big amount is a risk and also transferring big amount to any person is traceable. But bitcoin payment is untraceable nobody will guess who sent and who received.

I think Bill Gates only sees the bitcoin from the negative side without seeing the positive side of bitcoin. Let's imagine when bitcoin users can really change the world economy even dominate all the currencies. Perhaps Bill Gates will retract his statement.

i dont think cryptocurrency kills people, for me cryptocurrency helps people to be employed and gives some profit every time coins increase in price rapidly. bitcoin gives more people to earn money even they didnt finish their schools. bitcoin helps all country to increase the demand of their coins or increase the economy.

95% of illegal transactions are made with fiat, not cryptocurrencies. No one is using crypto to buy drugs and other illegal stuff except maybe Monero or other privacy coins.
Bitcoin and most other coins are not private.

no crypto currency never kill some other people abusing bitcoin for some terrorism or to buy drugs but butcoin is not designed for that kind of bad transaction. actually crypto is giving hope to every people who knows to earn in crypto currency.
