Now the NXT that originally was in the first NXT acct has been teleported to the new NXT acct without anyway for anybody to do more than a statistical random guess as to where the NXTcash that funded the new account came from
This sounds fantastic. But either you didn't explain how this really works with Nxt or I'm not smart enough to recognize the explanation

I had to gloss over the nitty gritty details as they are not totally finalized yet, plus you did ask for simple explanation. I tried to abstract out the relevant parts. Mapping the zerocoin.org instructions on how to integrate zerocoin into bitcoin blockchain was kind of helpful, but it leaves a lot of details out as to how to actually do it.
Add to this, the constraint of not changing the NXT core, but still working with current NXT blockchain
And we know the zeroknowledge proofs are crazy big and also time consuming to calculate
Suffice it to say that a lot of thought is going into how best to solve this and the first internal release made us realize that we were not totally on the right path. However, this is by design. For complex problems that I cant see all the way to the finish line, I opt to just go in the general direction of the solution. From there, course correction toward the final goal. Rinse and repeat.
As long as each iteration is getting closer, you will soon get to where you can see the finish line. At that point, fully solve all the details with the experience gained.
It is similar to playing chess. You really cant see all the way to the final checkmate. However, you can use your experience to guide you and avoid obvious mistakes. Keep making the best move within your powers, each and every move and at some point you will be able to solve it all the way to checkmate. unless your opponent does it to your first! thank goodness software usually doesnt fight back
