    removing the server option from the conf file does not work either - wallet still initiates and closes and pops that error window..
    I have now gone back to ver 1.41 until this bug will be sorted out..

    OK if the developer of version 1.50 see this - my suspicion about the criteria for password is correct..! the wallet is coded so that it will not accept a rpcpassword length too short or complex. I entered a very long password with different letters/digits and the wallet opened  - with the -server option..
    my request is that the developer must change that coding and allow password at our own discretion, which has always been the case. some want short pw some like long ones. that must be a free choice..
    a complex pw is absolutely not an issue for solo mining..

    Do you think the  block halving next month is really going to make a difference? there is soooooo much DOGE out there  it just might send the miners off to the next hot coin. my guess is the price will rise as the date approaches and then a very real drop..you always sell on the good news ;-)

    This was always going to tbe the problem wasnt it: Will the price double, or will the number of miners halve. I think the reality will be somewhere between the 2 with doge hitting maybe 220-240 again and net hash back down to 40-50Ghash but will see.
    Biggest problem right now is still accessibility via fiat imo. Its all well and good getting these thousands of new users in play, but if theyre only receiving Doge via a tip of 100 here and there it really means very little. We need them laying down $10 - $100 each and having a proper valued interest in it rather than a passive one to keep momentum.

    Well then we should think what is our next charity to make. I think charity business would be really good for doge, cute doge helping those who need help. And I'm not talkin' about any bs unicef charity when the money doesn't even go for the target.

    Step 2. Dogecoin funded events, around the world. We collect charity like money and with that money make huge events.

    Yes if it was easy to buy doge it would be  great..the webpages  that make it easy are expensive and/or  out of stock a  fair bit.
    i'm waiting a week for my account  to go live on an exchange so i can deposit euro to buy bitcoin to buy doge.
    unless I'm missing something this is the most direct  way  and cheapest  way to get some DOGE under your belt.

    A short future interpretation of doge with some TA'a;

    -Strong supportlevel at 163, I dont think we will ever again see this shitty bottom
    -Short position resistance is broken free - trendbreaker (this is good because we got nice support from bottom)
    -Might be (strong) resistance at around 172
    -Bottom support trendline has been made and its holding

    So what does this mean? It means it looks like we have hit the bottom, we are now bouncing inbetween our strong supportlevel of 163 and between a weaker resistance about 172, with a new smaller uptrend supportline. Within a day the bottom uptrend supportline will intersect with both 172 (resistance line) and the longer resistance trendline and this will be a big intersection. If we cross it, the downtrend is with most certainly over and we will enter a uptrend instead, which could be really big or a slower one.

    Hope this helps out a bit where dogecoin is at the moment.

    It has to mean something to the population interested in cryptocurrencies that even with these ups and downs doge is still keeping its place in the top 7 of the cryptocurrencies right?

    I mean which of the top 10 coins is the second youngest and how old is this coin compared to doge? Amazing coin i must say.

    I think to give another boost in DOGE we should focus on other causes. Who knows how to help someone with a rare disease to undergo treatment or donate to some catastrophe to happen. I think the media would love an action of this magnitude. For the record, I'm in an action of this. Long live DOGECOIN.

    Very good advice brother, this here is angry troll territory anymore. I'll never understand their fucked up problems with doge, my guess is they are just miserable bastards in general. Hate the game not the player, in this case be nice to doges.
